5 Creative Fall Wedding Ideas

August 26, 2019 by Candy Wrapper Store

More and more couples are deciding to get married during the fall. It is not hard to see why this is the case. Fall is a beautiful season. The weather is often pleasant and the beautiful colors of nature can provide the most stunning backdrop for any wedding celebration. With that being said, in this blog post, we are going to take a look at some of the best fall wedding suggestions.

Getting the rustic feel right

There is only one place to begin when it comes to fall weddings, and this is with rustic trends and designs. After all, barn weddings are certainly part of the norm when it comes to having a wedding in the fall. And, don’t worry, these outdoor, rustic style weddings are not going to be disappearing any time soon. However, despite this, there is no denying that the unpolished bohemian affairs that seem to have been inspired by Coachella are starting to fall out of favor. Instead, you should consider the likes of handmade and custom parasols instead of vintage chandeliers. It is also a good idea to make the most of luxe textiles and fine china so you can create the perfect outdoor vibe that is a lot less stuffy. Plus, you can create a whimsical yet moody vibe with colored taper candles. It is all about the little touches when it comes to weddings, and this is definitely the case for those rustic outdoor affairs. Small changes have the ability to make a massive difference, completely elevating your design while still ensuring the occasion is organic and romantic.

Fresh fruit

Using fresh fruit is a great idea for fall wedding design. However, you do need to be mindful regarding how you go about it. Skip the over-used Pinterest faux pas for fresh fruit, like twine and mason jars, and instead, make sure you go for thoughtful floral arrangements instead. Stick to seasonal produce and evergreen florals for centerpieces that are color-rich. They will feel organic and natural without giving off the impression that you have tried too hard.

Add a sweet touch for your wedding favors

There is no denying that choosing wedding favors can be difficult. After all, you want to choose something that is going to make your wedding memorable and something that everyone can enjoy. At the same time, this is not something you are going to want to blow your budget on. This is where personalized wedding chocolate bars come in. Candy bar wrappers that have been designed and personalized to fit in with your fall wedding can provide the perfect finishing touch to your wedding tables.

Don’t be afraid to take a risk when it comes to wedding fashion

There is no denying that your wedding is all about you, and so you should not be afraid to take a risk no matter the time of year. However, in the fall, it is a lot easier to play around with bolder-toned touches and deeper prints. You are able to do this without fretting about losing the timelessness and uniqueness that any sort of bridal gown demands. Take the time to look on Instagram and in fashion magazines to get some inspiration about this. If you are not a bride that is afraid to take a bit of a risk, fall is the perfect season for your dream wedding.

A touch of velvet

Last but not least, why not consider adding a touch of velvet? There is no denying that autumnal tones and blue hues have an inherent fall feel. However, you can turn the volume up on a chic fall soiree with little velvet hints and touches that are in rich jewel tones. Why not scatter this rich fabric throughout your fashion styling, furniture, and table setting for a look that is seasonally appropriate and perfectly posh? It is all about personal touches and luxe details when it comes to emulating this trend properly. This includes the likes of velvet ribbons being used on the chairs, menus, and programs to tie everything together perfectly for your special day.

As you can see, there are many different steps that you can take in order to create the perfect fall wedding. From adding a velvet touch to making the most of personalized and custom candy for your wedding favors; the options are endless. We hope that you now feel inspired to create the wedding of your dreams this fall. Congratulations!

Halloween Wedding and Reception Tips and Ideas

August 19, 2019 by Candy Wrapper Store

Anyone who loves Halloween will howl at the moon with delight when creating a ghoulishly gorgeous Halloween wedding during fall’s most bewitching season. A magical offering of congratulations goes out to all of those mysterious ghosts and goblins who are about to stir the marriage brew. With a little help, guests will be joyfully celebrating the happiest day of your lives in trendy and fun Halloween style.

Halloween weddings are as unique, entertaining and beautiful as a wedding can be. Cooler fall weather with romantic foliage colors sweetly invites a wonderful celebratory feel. What a perfect scenario for incredible weddings to come alive with personality while showing off some really fun ways to incorporate personalized flair.

To Personalize or Not to Personalize

Accommodating wedding and reception planning processes is key for a lovely outcome. Deciding on what type of specific personalizing is desired matters. That is why it is necessary to have the option to design-your-own candy wrappers and favors or go with a less personalized and more traditional design.

Fall Wedding Surprises

A Halloween wedding or wedding reception is an ideal time for presenting ingenious ways to impress guests. One easy way is to consider the season. Halloween stirs up notions of all kinds of fabulous decorations, tricks and treats. That’s what makes it fun. A great way to personalize beautiful fall weddings with class and style is by offering guests custom wedding candy, cards, invitations and reception favors.

Chocolate Wedding Magic

It isn’t everyday delicious chocolate candy has your name on it. Guests naturally love the idea and the taste of rich and delicious chocolate candy. Show them this candy favorite all dressed up in a custom chocolate candy wrapper designed just for them with no tricks attached. Design-your-own chocolate bar wrapper ideas are endless.

Design wrappers with the happy couple’s favorite saying or song title. Add humor or other memorable thoughts to wrappers using special quotes or poetry. It’s all about happy, fun-filled experiences for guests to enjoy as they celebrate the bride and groom’s biggest day.

Personalized chocolate candy wrappers are such extraordinary icons in a wedding setting. Guests will talk about them long after the special day is over. Chocolate bar wrappers come in various sizes to accommodate just the right specialized accent.

Popular Hershey bars wrapped in gold, silver, lavender, pink and other outstanding color options also go expertly with all wedding color themes. Chic Belgian chocolate bars are artfully wrapped in food safe silver foil. Milk chocolate wrapped in silver foil and dark chocolate wrapped in gold foil provides decadent wedding reception treats for discerning tastes.

Oodles of Halloween Treats to Try

Trick-or-treating has always been an occasion filled with suspense and lots of happy anticipation. There is something about the element of surprise treats that excites kids and adults alike. Wedding and reception treats are no exception. People love to be a part of the special day in special ways. Offering a wide variety of special treats that invite loving smiles is exactly what should happen. Personal touches of Halloween images or warm and inviting fall colors added to wrappers, and stickers offer just the right amounts of seasonal pizzazz.

Lollipops to Love

Adding a little whimsy to those specialized treat selections is snazzy and encourages light-hearted ambiance with a twist. Speaking of twists, adorable 2 inch swirls of lollipop fun comes in all kinds of happy colors. These lively little sweets are the ultimate treat for kid’s tables and used in flower arrangements. Darling stickers with favorite designs can be added to sweeten the lollipop deal.

Minty Mementos that Melt in Your Mouth

Customize adorable mint books that look like match books but hold a minty candy inside. For a lighter-look, mint to be lifesaver mints in a clear wrap with attached customized paper header are so easy to place in baskets, bowls or used as tasty little accents strewn individually around entry tables.

Taste Bud Teasing Candy Tins

Talk about the element of surprise. Darling, round candy tins with included customized sticker are the cutest party favors ever. These handy wedding favors can hold all kinds of sweet surprises. Fill with M&M’s, mints or jelly beans. Have guests each write a special note to the bride and groom to be placed inside the tin as a going away gift. Sturdy multi-purpose tins are the perfect solution to hold colorful confetti to be tossed as the bride and groom are whisked away. These trendy tins make great favors to hand out during any time of the wedding and reception.

Quench Thirsts and Candy Cravings

Ghirardelli Chocolate Squares with a picture of the bride and groom is a delectable combination of festive beauty and flavor. Both front and back sides of the wrapper can be used for adding more information such as dates or a different photo. What a fun and tasty way to feel closer to the happy couple before, during and after the wedding.

Complement Ghirardelli’s tasty chocolate 1.75 x 1.75 inch morsels with cool and refreshing water bottles personalized with identical photo labels or other treasured photos and messages. Drop these two darling personalized items in a colorful Halloween bag or large seasonal fabric square tied with raffia ribbon for guests to appreciate on the way home.

Awesome Invitations and Cards

Creating gorgeous engagement and wedding announcements during the Halloween and fall seasons is a very romantic avenue for the bride and groom to express their love their way. Intricately sketched black botanicals or a beautifully framed foliage wedding invitation displays refined elegance. Touches of black add elements of sophistication and allure.

Wedding invitations and cards are as individual as the tastes from whence they are inspired. Gorgeous fall colors of purples, reds, oranges, greens and yellows are pleasing to the eye and the soul. Nature’s inspiration is a wonderful way to create the most intimate or whimsical invitations desired.

Mix it up with red and black “Save the Date” cards. Sending white and black wedding announcements with a personalized mint is an original way to capture the attention of invitees. Long gone are the days of limited wedding announcements styles and designs.

Why Candy is the International Wedding Language

Halloween and fall wedding celebrations are filled with amazing decorative and expressive potential. By raising the bar with sweet surprises during wedding and reception occasions, everyone feels like a part of the special day.

There is a very clear connection to candy and feeling moments of joy and happiness. From weddings to movie theaters to holiday stockings filled with all kinds of sugary sweetness, candy holds a distinctive place in arenas of all types.

Weddings in particular are priceless gathering opportunities whose foundations evolve around joyful experiences. Each piece of candy that is added to this occasion is considered as a love offering.

From the first enticing announcement to those final wedding day farewells, cherish the process and always keep candy in reach. Guests love to find little surprises in unexpected places. Kids love being able to treat themselves to yummy goodies, especially around the Halloween season. Fun photo opportunities arise as chocolate lovers take their first bite into that chocolate bar they have been craving. Handy mints refresh and satisfy taste buds.

Every last detail is a reflection to be remembered. By including unexpected Halloween delights, family and friends will feel the love in whole new ways. Now is the time to turn this incredible day into something magical!

How to Throw a Fun and Easy Halloween Party for Kids

August 16, 2019 by Candy Wrapper Store

With all the goodies and games that go along with this season, Halloween is a fun time of year for children and adults to enjoy time together. Why not throw a Halloween party for your children and their friends? Here are some simple ideas to get you started.

Invitations

You can make your own Halloween invitations with construction paper and glue. Cut out orange pumpkin shapes, and add black triangle for the mouth and eyes of a jack-o-lantern. Then write the party details on the back. You could also cut out large white circles to make an eyeball. Add a black paper pupil in the center and draw lines with a red marker. Use your imagination to make all kinds of shapes.

If you are handing out invitations, create some excitement by placing your paper invitations in a small goodie bag. Add candy and small Halloween toys.

Decorations

Halloween party decorations are as easy as black and orange crepe paper and balloons. You can also add a few skeletons or pumpkins, and a throw a sheet over a clothes hanger to create a ghost. Consider the age of your guests when you decorate. Older kids might love a monster in the corner with glowing eyes while little ones may be afraid.

Many people have animatronic or inflatable Halloween decorations. Ask friends and family to borrow some for your event.

If your party is going to be at night, turn down the overhead lights and hang strands of orange lights on the ceiling, around tables or in an entryway.

A fog machine is easy to use and can make your front door look particularly inviting.

Food

Halloween-themed food can be lots of fun, and you can get as simple or as complicated as you like. Wrap hot dogs in a refrigerated bread dough and add two drops of ketchup as eyes, and you have edible mummies. Push almond slivers into the end of carrot sticks for creepy witch fingers. Make monsters on pizza by artistically arranging toppings like veggies and pepperoni to form creepy faces.

Give other foods a creative flair by renaming them. Potato chips and dip can be dragon scales with pureed monster poop, and spaghetti with meatballs could be sautéed worms topped with balls of brain.

Make your punch bowl scarier by filling plastic gloves with water and freezing for ice shaped like a floating hand. You can also use some dry ice to make things smoky.

For dessert, crunch up some chocolate cookies and mix them into chocolate pudding. Sprinkle gummy worms and bugs on top. Or for a special sweet treat, give them custom chocolate candy.

Activities

Introduce your children to traditional fun with old-school Halloween activities like a costume contest and guessing how many candy corns are in a jar.

Set up a craft table where kids can paint a pumpkin or make their own Halloween-inspired picture frames out of foam shapes found at any craft store.

Turn a small space into a photo booth area with a black sheet or tablecloth as a backdrop, and give kids Halloween signs and props to use. Take everyone’s pictures and either send them digitally after the party or print them for guests to take home.

Hide small, wrapped pieces of candy all over your yard and let kids hunt for them. Have specific areas designated for younger and older kids if you have a mixed group.

You can also turn popular children’s games into Halloween activities by adding a Halloween spin. For example, you might divide guests into pairs and give each team a small pumpkin. Ask the team to toss the pumpkins back and forth, taking a step back each time, to see who can last the longest.

Use orange and black balloons for balloon games, or use Halloween music for a game of musical chairs.

Party Favors

If you are only having a few guests, personalize trick-or-treat bags to let kids take home with them. Fill the bags with candy and lighted items like bracelets for use on Halloween night.

For lots of kids, set up a candy bar and let kids choose their own mix of treats, toys and other small items.

Halloween is a holiday that lends itself to fantastic parties, and it’s also a great time to make childhood memories that will last a lifetime. Use these Halloween party tips to get you started, and you are sure to throw a bash that your kids and their friends will love.

Fun Favors for your Wedding

July 19, 2019 by Candy Wrapper Store

Favors are a way of thanking your guests for celebrating your special day with you. They’re also an excellent way to inject your personality and add to the atmosphere of your wedding. Traditional favors are a thing of the past, and that’s no bad thing. The unconventional approach to weddings is becoming more popular, and by putting some thought into your favors, you can impress your guests and put your own spin on the occasion.

Should your wedding include a lot of big drinkers, consider giving your guests a hangover kit. You don’t have to leave them at the table on their dinner plates, but you can have them delivered to the hotels beforehand, in preparation. Include some aspirin, mints or gum, an eye mask, tissues, an instant coffee sachet, mouthwash, a bottle of water and a granola bar. A hangover kit is as customizable as you want and something all your guests can appreciate after your big bash.

If you’re looking to throw the party of a lifetime, give your guests reception accessories as their favor. For raves, glow sticks that you can wave around or make jewelry out of will light up any wedding. For a fun, festival atmosphere, give out oversized glasses, wigs or silly hats. Whether or not the favors last the night, they’ll last as a memory and you’ll see them over and over in your photographs.

Though weddings are practically synonymous with eating, having edible candy favors is never a bad idea. Tasty takeaways like a cookie or candy buffet, with bags for the guests to fill now and enjoy later, always go down well. If you want to be more traditional and have something at the table, consider edible name tags like cake pops. It’ll give your guests something to eat while waiting through the speeches or during down time. These kinds of favors are quickly gone but not forgotten. They’re often favorites among wedding guests and require as little or as much thought as you want to put into them.

Wedding favors are a chance to show your guests you appreciate them. Think about the other messages you want to send with your favors, what sort of atmosphere you want to project and the kind of wedding you want to have. They’re an easy way to have some fun with your theme and with your guests. Make your favor something that they’ll appreciate and it’ll add that extra something to your wedding day.

The Best Wedding Reception Party Favors

June 19, 2018 by Candy Wrapper Store

Giving a wedding reception party favor to attending guests as a small token of appreciation is a tradition that most brides and grooms still follow. While some couples try to come up with novel ideas, none of these choices match the fun and enjoyment of having personalized candy bar wrappers create a special moment for your wedding celebration. Continuing to grab their full share of attention as one of the most popular choices, personalized candy bar wrappers easily capture the sentiment of your special day while adding memorable moments to your “sweet occasion.” Even more importantly, the candy bars are as good to look at as they are to eat. Here are several fun ways to incorporate personalized candy bar wrappers and favor tins into your wedding reception.

Edible Place Settings

How cool would it be for your guests to arrive at your wedding only to discover that their place cards are actually attached to candy bars featuring your married name along with the date of your wedding? You can even create a special message on the reverse side of the label. Plus, your guests are sure to enjoy having something to nibble on while waiting for the festivities to begin.

Candy Buffets

Traditional wedding receptions feature the bridal cake as the dessert, but, quite often, the guests are looking for additional sweets to satisfy their craving for sweet-tasting foods. This is especially true once the after-dinner coffee is served. A candy buffet offers the perfect solution, giving you the chance to indulge in a little chocolate perfection yourself with Hershey bars, Jordan almonds, and a variety of your favorite candies.

Decorative Elements

Floral displays and balloons are the traditional choices for decorative purposes for morning, day, and evening wedding receptions. Adding displays featuring customized candy wrappers and favor tins can add a nice touch of color as well as personality to your reception theme. From the whimsical messages and photos on color-coordinated candy wrappers to the Hershey nuggets and miniature candy bars, your wedding venue is filled with sweet messages of wedding bliss and sugary things to come.

For evening and formal weddings, you can include decorative displays featuring small stacks of candy bars with sophisticated wrappers throughout the wedding venue. For casual, morning, and afternoon weddings, you can display mini-stacks of candy bars covered in different colored wrappers, each of which offers a unique message to your guests. For every type of wedding venue, you can sweeten up your location with decorative jars or plates covered with piles of personalized candy bars and tiny nuggets of chocolate delights. Of course, wooden tea boxes filled with candy bars also add a nice touch of sugary fun to your wedding event.

Candy Bar Cake

If you are truly a lover of all things sweet, why not consider a candy bar cake? The baker can decorate the sides of your confection with the candy bars standing on their sides.

The best wedding reception party favors may just be personalized candy bars with customized wrappers. After all, personalized candy bar wrappers deliver sweet messages that your guests are sure to love. To add even more fun to a memorable day, you might want to consider specialized favor tins and Hershey bar wrappers to share your love of each other, your family, and the sweetness that life has to offer.
