Kelsey Grammer ties the knot for the fourth time

February 28, 2011 by Candy Wrapper Store

Kelsey Grammer and his new wife, Kayte Walsh, were wed this past Friday in the middle of a heavy rainstorm, according to People Magazine.

The ceremony took place inside the Longacre Theater amidst bouquets of red and pink flowers sitting in golden urns. Guests told the news source that it was an incredibly emotional affair as friends and family read poems and passages that the couple had written for one another. The two were reportedly holding back tears throughout the ceremony.

Grammer's 27-year-old daughter Spencer told Life & Style that the Fraiser star has been visibly changed since meeting Walsh. "She set him free," she told the news outlet.

Immediately following the ceremony, those who'd received wedding invitations were treated to an extravagant reception was held at the Plaza Hotel. At one point, Grammer told his guests how he and Walsh met: he'd been flying to London to see a play and she had been a flight attendant.

The newly-married couple stayed at each other's side through the entire occasion, slipping out quietly just as the celebration was winding down.

Middleton invites townspeople to royal wedding

February 28, 2011 by Candy Wrapper Store

While Sarah Ferguson may not have made the list, People Magazine is reporting that Kate Middleton surprised everyone by extending invites to local personalities from her hometown of Bucklebury. According to the news source, Middleton requested that the grocers, postman and a local tavern owner be given wedding invitations.

Hash Shingadia, a shopkeep, told the news outlet that he was "over the moon" when he and his wife saw the royal seal on their invitation to the April 29 ceremony. Shingadia has known Middleton for about four years and has had the pleasure of meeting Prince William a few times as well.

Another lucky Bucklebury resident is John Hanley, who owns the Old Boot Inn, where the couple have stopped in for drinks a few times. Hanley told the news source that he was overjoyed to receive an invite and that he plans on attending the wedding as well as a celebration back in town afterwards.

The recipients will only need to travel about 50 miles to reach London. It was recently announced, according to the BBC, that the ceremony will be held at Westminster Abbey.

Throw a perfect Bar or Bat Mitzvah for that special someone

February 28, 2011 by Candy Wrapper Store

For almost every Jewish boy or girl, turning 13 is one of the most momentous occasions of their lives. Aside from officially entering their teenage years, this is a time to make their way to their synagogue's podium and celebrate their Bar or Bat Mitzvah.

Those who have a son or daughter preparing for such an occasion may want to take the time to carefully coordinate a party. When it comes down to it, your little one likely spent years preparing for this day, and it's important he or she realize that their hard work has not gone unnoticed.

Make sure you pick out a theme for this special occasion. From sports to beloved movies, the options are absolutely endless.

Additionally, you're going to want to decorate the event space as much as possible. Your teen will appreciate the time you put in to make their event one to remember.

Finally, stock up on birthday party favors. Of course, most party attendees can't drink, so give them a water bottle with the date of the soiree inscribed on its label. Toss it into a gigantic goodie bag with scores of chocolate treats,  and watch as all the kids grin from ear-to-ear.

Start planning now for the ultimate graduation bash

February 28, 2011 by Candy Wrapper Store

One of the fondest memories people have is of their graduations. It's safe to say there's nothing as wonderful as holding a diploma in your hand and being certain that your hard work has paid off.

If you currently know someone who is about to don a cap and gown and take part in a special ceremony, why not start planning for a fantastic party? Although some shindigs require a careful amount of coordination, the truth is that this is one affair that doesn't need much pomp and circumstance.

Send out invitations that pay homage to their achievements. Stationery emblazoned with cute images of pencils and notebooks is sure to be appreciated by all.

Also, make sure you decorate accordingly. A nifty idea is to have the event space adorned with photos of the guest of honor throughout the years, a move that will allow party attendees to take note of how far they've come.

Finally, stock up on birthday party favors. Goodie bags stuffed with delectable treats or even personalized lollipops will be gone in two seconds flat.
