Kelsey Grammer ties the knot for the fourth time

Kelsey Grammer and his new wife, Kayte Walsh, were wed this past Friday in the middle of a heavy rainstorm, according to People Magazine.

The ceremony took place inside the Longacre Theater amidst bouquets of red and pink flowers sitting in golden urns. Guests told the news source that it was an incredibly emotional affair as friends and family read poems and passages that the couple had written for one another. The two were reportedly holding back tears throughout the ceremony.

Grammer's 27-year-old daughter Spencer told Life & Style that the Fraiser star has been visibly changed since meeting Walsh. "She set him free," she told the news outlet.

Immediately following the ceremony, those who'd received wedding invitations were treated to an extravagant reception was held at the Plaza Hotel. At one point, Grammer told his guests how he and Walsh met: he'd been flying to London to see a play and she had been a flight attendant.

The newly-married couple stayed at each other's side through the entire occasion, slipping out quietly just as the celebration was winding down.

Middleton invites townspeople to royal wedding

While Sarah Ferguson may not have made the list, People Magazine is reporting that Kate Middleton surprised everyone by extending invites to local personalities from her hometown of Bucklebury. According to the news source, Middleton requested that the grocers, postman and a local tavern owner be given wedding invitations.

Hash Shingadia, a shopkeep, told the news outlet that he was "over the moon" when he and his wife saw the royal seal on their invitation to the April 29 ceremony. Shingadia has known Middleton for about four years and has had the pleasure of meeting Prince William a few times as well.

Another lucky Bucklebury resident is John Hanley, who owns the Old Boot Inn, where the couple have stopped in for drinks a few times. Hanley told the news source that he was overjoyed to receive an invite and that he plans on attending the wedding as well as a celebration back in town afterwards.

The recipients will only need to travel about 50 miles to reach London. It was recently announced, according to the BBC, that the ceremony will be held at Westminster Abbey.

Make sure you pick out a theme for this special occasion. From sports to beloved movies, the options are absolutely endless.

Additionally, you're going to want to decorate the event space as much as possible. Your teen will appreciate the time you put in to make their event one to remember.

Kick the winter doldrums with an outdoor birthday party

While the outdoors may not be the first thing that comes to mind when thinking of places to hold a winter birthday party, there are a lot of advantages to throwing one! For your sake, you won't have to keep a watchful eye on a dozen little kids hopped up on sugar running through your house and the little ones will adore the chance to run and play in the snow.

There are so many different directions you can go with a party such as this that you're bound to find something that will appeal to you and the children. Pack up some hot drinks and a cake and take the kids sledding for a couple of hours. Or how about ice skating? Drive over to a park with a pond and let the kids slide around! And if you live in a city there's likely an indoor rink nearby.

If you would still like to keep things at your house, simply have the kids build snowmen out in the backyard after celebrating inside. You can supply shovels, pales and other toys that will help sculpt and move the snow. Just be sure to mention on the birthday party invitations to bring proper snow gear!

If you currently have a close friend or family member who is expecting a girl, why not throw her a princess-inspired baby shower? By the time her little one is old enough to walk and talk, it's likely she'll be obsessed with frilly get-ups and pretty pink dresses anyway.

First, pick out some extra sweet baby shower invitations. Remember, if the affair isn't a surprise, you may want to get the expectant mama's input on what she loves best.

Additionally, don't forget to stock up on amazing party extras. Candy wrapper favors that feature the mom-to-be's image on them will be especially appreciated. Give guests one each and the woman of honor a few more – after all, she's currently eating for two, and you'll want to keep her sweet tooth satiated.
