The baby will be Ritchie's second biological child, in addition to his ten-year-old son, Rocco. He and Madonna also adopted a son, six-year-old David, from Malawi.

The Snatch director has been dating the leggy model for about a year. The expecting mother was ecstatic when she heard the news.

People Magazine is reporting that Alyssa Milano is the most recent celeb to join the ranks of famous and expecting. The Who's The Boss and Charmed actress and her husband Dave Bugliari should welcome their bundle of joy this fall.

"They're just over the moon," a friend of the couple told the news source. "They are so excited. Milano and Bugliari have been married since 2009 after having met three years before that.

Milano is just one of a number of Hollywood starlets to announce impending additions to the family. In fact, she's been beaten the punch by the likes of Jewel, Natalie Portman, Kate Hudson and Mariah Carey, just to name a few. Forget rabbits – 2011 is shaping up to be the Year of the Baby!

Jessica Alba is expecting her second child!

It looks like it's time for yet another Hollywood star to start shopping for birth announcements – Jessica Alba is pregnant! Alba revealed the news that she and husband Cash Warren are expecting on her Facebook page.

"It's been a while since I've been on FB & I thought I'd drop by to let you all in on some exciting news – Honor is going to be a Big Sister!" Alba wrote on the social networking site. "Cash and I are thrilled and wanted to share the news directly with you so you didn't hear about it somewhere else."

This will be Alba and Warren's second child. The couple welcomed a daughter, Honor Marie Warren, in 2008. Friends and fans of the actress may not be surprised that Alba is with child once again.

"Every day [with Honor] is totally different. The love is deeper every day," Alba told People magazine in 2009. "I'm hoping to definitely have more kids. Whatever happens, I'm not setting a certain number. I think in life you're always surprised and a few more kids are certainly in my future."

Sex and the City star welcomes son!

While it may seem like just yesterday that we were watching Cynthia Nixon's character, Miranda Hobbes give birth on HBO's Sex and the City, it's time for the actress to send out birth announcements of her own! According to People.com, Nixon and her partner, Christine Marinoni, welcomed a son on February 7.

"Christine and baby are doing great," Nixon's rep told the news source. The name that will adorn the birth announcements? Max Ellington Nixon-Marinoni.

Though this is the first child for the happy couple, who began their relationship in 2004 and announced their engagement in 2009, Nixon has been a mom for quite some time. The actress has two children, Samantha, 14, and Charles, 8, with former flame Danny Mozes, a teacher whom she dated for 15 years.

Nixon is not the only Sex and the City star to embrace motherhood. Sarah Jessica Parker, better known as shoe-loving Carrie Bradshaw, has an 8-year-old son, James Wilkie, and 1-year-old twin daughters, Marion Loretta Elwell and Tabitha Hodge, with actor Matthew Broderick.

Mariah Carey, Nick Cannon expecting twins

Superstar couple Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon may be shopping for two birth announcements, as the pair has revealed they are expecting both a boy and a girl in April, according to the New York Daily News.

After months of speculation about whether or not Carey was expecting, the couple confirmed pregnancy rumors in October but chose to keep the gender of their impending bundle a secret. Then, in December, they confirmed they are having twins.

"There were fan contests on Twitter about what gender they are and rumors about them being two boys or two girls – but nobody guessed this!" Carey told Life & Style magazine.

People magazine reports that the Grammy-winning singer is already working on decorating and designing the twins' nurseries in Los Angeles and New York, and that the parents-to-be have picked out a few names.

There's little doubt that the couple will be the guests of honor at a Hollywood-style baby shower before their children are born as well.

Whatever theme is chosen for the party, guests should expect custom party favors. Candy bars wrapped with twin-themed wrappers, personalized lollipops or other edible treats are great additions to any celebration and are appreciated by guests.

Penelope Cruz, Javier Bardem become first-time parents

It's been an eventful week for actors Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem.

In addition to Bardem's third Oscar nomination for the film "Biutiful," the couple, who has been married since July, welcomed their first child, a son.

Although Entertainment Tonight has confirmed that the couple had a baby boy last Saturday at Los Angeles' Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, reps have not released further details of the baby boy.

"Both parents and baby are doing great," an insider told the news provider.

The notoriously private couple was said to be surrounded by family members. The proud parents are most likely hard at work adjusting to life with an infant. Perhaps they're looking for the perfect birth announcements?

Just a few weeks ago, the couple attended a baby shower for themselves at their home in Los Angeles.

According to the New York Post, the shower was an all-girls' affair until Cruz's friend, actor Leonardo DiCaprio, joined the party.

"Leo wanted to show up to surprise her," a source told the newspaper.

Throwing a baby shower for an expectant friend or family member is a great way to celebrate the impending birth and help the parents prepare for the arrival of a new baby.

In addition to baby-themed decorations, cake and games, many parties often include baby shower favors such as personalized lollipops or candy bars wrapped in personalized candy wrappers.

It’s a boy for Elton John!

Elton John and his husband, David Furnish, may soon be sending out birth announcements to announce the arrival of their son, Zachary Jackson Levon Furnish-John.

The child, who weighed in at 7 pounds, 15 ounces, was born on Christmas Day via a surrogate. He is the first child for both John, 63, and Furnish, 48.

"I've never felt anything like it in my life," the music legend recently told US Weekly. "You're so awestruck. What can you say? You take it in. The feeling, the joy, the warmth of his body, his breathing … I will never forget that experience ever."

The couple has been together for 17 years. They were married in a civil ceremony in the UK in 2005.

The birth of Zachary fulfills a long time dream for both men, who admitted to being devastated after their attempt to adopt two Ukrainian orphans earlier this year was rejected by authorities.

While the couple is keeping details of their surrogate private, they say they will be honest with Zachary about how he was conceived.

And, they intend to spend a lot of quality time as a family in the coming months and years.

"We don't want to put the raising of children into the hands of nannies and housekeepers," Furnish told People magazine. "We want to be active parents. We have godchildren [and] kids that we support in Africa, so we're fine."

Orlando Bloom welcomes a baby boy

While Orlando Bloom won't be spending time promoting the newest Pirates of the Caribbean film – the actor declined to reprise his role in the franchise's fourth installment – it seems that he still has a busy year ahead. Bloom's wife, model Miranda Kerr, recently gave birth to a baby boy!

According to People magazine, newborn Flynn was born on January 6, and Kerr just recently took to her blog to reveal some details surrounding the joyous event.

"I gave birth to him naturally – without any pain medication and it was a long, arduous and difficult labour, but Orlando was with me the whole time supporting and guiding me through it. I could not have done it without him," she wrote. "We are so happy and are enjoying our time together as a family. He is our little ray of sunshine. Thank you everyone for your beautiful well wishes and your lovely thoughts."

Bloom and Kerr have been together since 2007, and the two tied the knot in June of last year. This is the first child for both.

We wonder if the birth announcements boasted a pirate theme!

Jewel’s having a boy!

While some expectant couples don't want to know the sex of the baby prior to the day he or she is born, others can't wait and find out long before the birth announcements have been printed. One such pair? Jewel and Ty Murray, who recently revealed they are expecting a boy.

"We would have been happy either way, of course, but we are so excited to be ?having a little boy," Jewel told People magazine.

Her husband, a nine-time World Champion rodeo cowboy, echoed his wife's enthusiasm.

"I have to admit, I was doing a little dance on our way out of the doctor's ?office when we found out!" Murray added.

Though Jewel and Murray are thrilled to welcome a boy, it seems that another expectant celebrity may be hoping to send out pink birth announcements instead – Kate Hudson.

"I think secretly we're all hoping for a girl," Kurt Russell, longtime boyfriend of Hudson's mother, Goldie Hawn, confessed to the news source in a different article.

However, the family is thrilled that there will soon be an addition to the group, regardless of gender.

"It's fun having babies once again. We just really like that. And it's fun to watch them grow. It's fun to see what they're grasping," Russell added.
